Hello Darlings!
The school supplies are out, the emails are starting to creep in, and Target is filled to the brim with back to school shoes and backpacks. Like the morning before it rains, I can smell it. School is coming!
Perhaps you are excited. Maybe you are overwhelmed. Or maybe you are filling every last second before you get back to school.
To get you started off on the right foot, I have compiled 5 resources to set you up for success. Let’s dive in!
Digital Newsletters: You are going to love these!! Not only are they super cute but they keep everyone organized. Print a copy and send it home, stick it on the front of your student’s take home folder, post it in the hallway….basically everywhere! There’s no such thing as too much communication when you’ve got 30 people in your care!
Back to School Questionnaire (Google Form): The amount of paper that goes home in the first week is INSANE! As a parent, it is even more overwhelming. Now imagine that pile of papers with 2, 3, or even 4 children. Things are going to get lost, let’s just be honest! That is why I chose to create this resource digitally. Parents can complete it in 3-5 minutes on their phone! Wait a week to send it out after the dust settles and the completion rate will be high! This form might be one of the most valuable tools as I get to know my students!
Growing Bundle | Emergency Sub Plans: Ok, so we aren’t even back yet and already we are talking about sub plans? Yes! Why? Because life happens and it happens fast. It is unpredictable! That darn fall cold that sets in after the first few weeks of school, the car that decided not to start, or a sick child of your own. It all happens and usually when we aren’t ready. Grab this growing bundle and rest knowing that the hard work is done!
Teacher Planner Toolkit: After you’re done gushing over the floral design, you’ll quickly get excited about this tool! You will ALWAYS have your lesson plans prepped, ready, and with you. Walk into a meeting fully prepared, email them off to a sub on a sick day, or share with your boss on a dime. Use them individually or use them as a team collaboration tool. Planning will be wayyyy more fun…trust me!
Back to School Activity Bundle: In the first few days, you’ll likely be up to your ears in policies, procedures, and assessments. Kids need a break to be kids and bond with one another. They also need opportunities to get back into the groove of independent and collaborative work. This bundle is perfect for just this! Everything is ready and made for you to hit the ground running (but not through the halls!!)
