Hello Darlings!
I hope each and every one of you had a lovely holiday season! I enjoyed spoiling my niece and nephew while wearing my favorite (and possibly tacky) Christmas sweater! I also got to spend some time with my college best friends which made the holidays even more special.
Now, with January officially here, I am beginning the mental and emotional shift that we all take toward the end of our much-deserved holiday break…
My mind will inevitably start to shift from sleeping in and staying in my pj’s to lesson plans, meetings, and engaging activities I want to complete with my kiddos in January.
“Back to the real world” as they say! Eeek!
In order to feel super prepared for heading back into the classroom, I wanted to share one of my favorite must-have resources.
These digital emergency January sub plans are by far the MOST important resource that I incorporated in my third grade classroom. This particular digital sub plans template comes in a yearly bundle that includes THREE days of no-prep, digital resources!
What makes these digital emergency sub plans even more special and necessary is that my own third grade team members have used every single month’s emergency sub plans so far. When they have been sick or their children have been sick, all they had to do was contact me to pull out their sub binders and all of their students’ assignments for that day were in Google Classroom waiting on them!
As a fellow educator, you can imagine what peace of mind this brings to my teammates when they are dealing with sickness, family emergencies, etc.
With these digital emergency sub plans for third and fourth grades, you will have three days worth of work in all subject areas taken care of for every month of the school year. Can I get a “WHOOP WHOOP”?!
Another bonus with these digital sub plans is that you can use these interactive, no-prep activities for early finishes, review activities, and more. My students have actually begged me to do these fun activities before!
And as usual, who am I to deny them???
Don’t forget to click on the links above and grab your copy of January’s digital emergency sub plans or even better – grab the yearly growing bundle of digital emergency sub plans!
What are your favorite resources to leave for a sub? I’d love to hear from you!
